Sketch N Scrap Challenge #71
It's time for another sketch for December from Sketch N Scrap! I loved working with this sketch -- although I'm so sad to say it is my last sketch layout to create for Sketch N Scrap. This month marks the last month of my term as a member of their design team. I've had so much fun this year working with them! I will miss it.
Here's the sketch:
And here's the layout I created based on the sketch:
To create this layout, I used the Dear Santa collection by Echo Park / Photo Freedom. Such a fun collection with great colors! I layered everything together, turning the horizontal border into a vertical one and then adding in an extra photo. The glittered snowflakes are from Michael's Recollections.
So fun! Love how it turned out. And now, head on over to Sketch N Scrap to see what the other talented designers created with this sketch...
Be sure to play along with the sketch challenge this month (and every month!) at Sketch N Scrap. Don't forget -- if you link up your creation at Sketch N Scrap, you'll be entered to win a great prize giveaway -- a new prize each month.
Until next time,
Stay crafty!

Sketch N Scrap Inspired By Sketch for December
Good morning! This month is flying by -- yikes! But I do
love that today, there's a new sketch up at Sketch N Scrap for the Inspired By sketch challenge.
Here's the sketch:
And here's the layout I created based on the sketch:
How amazing is this photo? LOL. That's me -- the little girl on the right. Totally 80s!
I created this layout using mostly TPC Studios papers. Fun and wintery! I then added in the woodgrain washi tape, white glitter Thickers, and those lovely snowflakes from Jolee's Boutique. Beautiful!
I love how this turned out. Wintery and retro! And now, head on over to Sketch N Scrap to see what the other talented designers created with this sketch...

Sketch N Scrap Challenge #70
Good morning! I'm excited today to be sharing a new layout based on the Sketch N Scrap sketch challenge #70. This is the first sketch challenge for the month of December -- and I was excited to get to scrap Christmas photos!
Here's the sketch:
And here is the layout I created based on the sketch:
I used the Merry & Bright collection by Carta Bella. I've had this collection in my stash for awhile, and it's just adorable with lovely Christmas colors. I used foam dots behind the stickers and the title to give them some dimension from the page, and then added in the mistletoe paper die cuts from my stash.
Just super cute!
So that's my layout for this sketch! And now, head on over to Sketch N Scrap to see what the other talented designers created with this sketch...

Sketch N Scrap Challenge #69
Good morning! Today, I have a new layout to share to go along with the Sketch N Scrap
sketch challenge #69. This is the second sketch challenge for November
-- and I was so excited to use a new collection kit I had just purchased, perfect for fall photos.
Here's the sketch:
And here's my layout based on the sketch:
I love it! I used the Apple Cider collection by October Afternoon, plus a Polaroid frame die from Quikutz. The Apple Cider collection is just adorable, with lots of little puffy stickers that I just love. I inked everything with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink for a warmer look.
So that's my layout for this sketch -- I love it! And now, head on over to Sketch N Scrap to see what the other talented designers created with this sketch...

Sketch N Scrap Challege #68
Hello everyone! We are already at the first of November -- hard to believe! -- but that means that there's a new sketch up today at Sketch N Scrap for sketch challenge #68.
Here's the sketch:
And here is the layout I created based on the sketch:
I love getting these random fun photos scrapped for our family album! These photos are from a few years ago, just a fun night of playing board games. I used papers from the Well Played collection by Carta Bella, along with some cardstock scraps. I used Rootbeer Float Thickers and Doodlebug Designs alpha stickers for the title, then added in star brads and chipboard stars by Maya Road.
So that's my layout for this sketch! And now, head on over to Sketch N Scrap to see what the other talented designers created with this sketch...

Another Sketch N Scrap Card Making Challenge
Hello everyone! I'm back today with another card challenge from Sketch N Scrap. It's World Card Making Month and Sketch N Scrap has been posting new card challenges all month-long to celebrate. So my card today is on this challenge:
Halloween or Orange: Create a Halloween card or a card using the color orange as the main color.
What a fun challenge! You already know that Halloween is my favorite holiday, so this one was a great challenge for me.
Here's the card I created:
Love it. For this card, the papers and embellishments again all come from the October 2013 monthly kit from Scraptastic Club.
I layered all the papers together with the die cut sentiment on top, then added some black glitter glue to the wood spider embellishment for a bit of sparkle.
So that's my card for this challenge. And now, head on over to Sketch N Scrap to see what the other talented designers created with this challenge.

So that's my layout for this sketch -- I love Halloween! Can you tell? :) And now, head on over to Sketch N Scrap to see what the other talented designers created with this sketch...

Hello everyone! Today, I have something a bit different to share -- it's World Card Making Month and Sketch N Scrap has posted new card challenges to celebrate. I have a card to share today based on this challenge:
Holiday Fun: Create a card for your favorite holiday.
I loved this challenge! I am always in need of great cards, so I was excited to create a card for my favorite holiday -- Halloween!
Here's the card I created:
Okay, I just love it. The papers and embellishments all come from the October 2013 monthly kit from Scraptastic Club. I added some black glitter glue to the wood spider embellishment, just to add a bit of sparkle. And that chalkboard sentiment from American Crafts is just lovely.

Sketch N Scrap Inspired By Sketch for October
Hello everyone! Today, I'm excited to share a new layout for Sketch N Scrap and their Inspired By sketch challenge for October. These sketches are so fun to work with because they are modeled after another designer's layout.
Here's the sketch:
And here's the layout I created based on the sketch:
You all know that I love Halloween, and this layout is no exception. I have been wanting to use these adorable Doodlebug Halloween stickers, so for this layout, I used a fun black patterned background and lots of fun pattern scraps. Then I just used the stickers to add accents around the page, using foam dots to lift some of the stickers off the page.
I love it! And now, head on over to Sketch N Scrap to see what the other talented designers created with this sketch...
