Hello all - I just wanted to share a few scrapbook layouts I've created this week using the 34th Street scrapbooking kit from Studio Calico. I'm anxiously awaiting the January kit because I'm also getting one of the new Project Life kits - can't wait! So, I wanted to create a bit with the December 2012 kit. Love the colors and pieces from this kit...of course I used my beloved Kiwi Lane designer templates as well. They work for everything.
I'm super proud of myself for finally using the stamps. Silly, I know.
But for me, it take a lot of effort to get out all the stamping stuff.
This time, it wasn't such a hard thing at all because I've been inking
all my edges when I use the Kiwi Lane templates. So stamping out the
little images that came with the kit was easy-peasy. Love the extra bit
of special that gives these layouts.
The kit included a ton of vellum arrows which I just loved - so I
decided to really accessorize with them and create a border accent piece
on this layout. I also used the stamp to create another arrow.
This last one, I especially love. In addition to the arrows, the kit included chipboard speech bubbles. So on this layout, I used them to create unique journaling by writing out a conversation between myself and the boys. Very fun.
I really enjoyed creating with this kit. Very fun colors that went with everything.
Until next time...
